What is the Regina _ Area Support Services Database?

A database of human services available to residents of Regina and its surrounding area. Included are services that provide basic subsistence and survival (food, clothing, shelter) and related support services (emergency assistance, financial assistance, physical and mental health assistance): for a full description of included services please see our Terms of Use. There is no fee for using the Database nor being listed in the Database.

How do I use the Regina _ Area Support Services Database?

You can search the Database as you would search using Google or Yahoo. Click the Search link at the top of the page and enter the name of the service, program, or organization in the box labelled Find. You can narrow the results by specifying the community in which you are located by using the boxes labelled Limit To. If you don’t know the name of the service, program, or organization that you are looking for you can also browse the Database. Browsing allows you to narrow your search by subject area: click the Browse link at the top of the page and then click on one of the Service Categories to see its sub-categories. Click the View Programs and Services link to see all of the services under that Service Category.

How do I suggest that a listing be added to the Regina _ Area Support Services Database?

Please note that the Regina _ Area Support Services Database is a collection of information about human services available to residents of Regina and its surrounding area. Included are services that provide basic subsistence and survival (food, clothing, shelter) and related support services (emergency assistance, financial assistance, physical and mental health assistance). For a detailed description of the Regina _ Area Support Services Database and the range of services that it represents please see our Terms of Use policy. RASS is no longer accepting requests to add a new listing. RASS will be superceded by the 211 Saskatachewan service, which is expected to be available soon.

How do I suggest changes to a listing in the Regina _ Area Support Services Database?

You may send an email containing your changes to ykhan_dot_211sask@unitedwayregina.ca (replace _dot_ with a period). Please note that it may take a few days for your request to be attended to.

Yes! PDF files of all listings are available for download from our Dowloads page..

Where do you get your information?

All of the information in our database was initially gathered by other service agencies and/or directly from the respective organizations. We contact all of these organizations on an annual basis to verify the accuracy of the information. If we are unable to verify the information the listing is removed. These procedures are in accordance with the AIRS Standards.

Do you have any printed material available for download?

Both a poster and brochure are available.
